Our comparison today focuses on two popular summer tyres: Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 and Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 K117, produced by Goodyear and Hankook respectively.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 was made in Germany. It was later replaced by the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5. This model performed excellently in numerous tests, notably acing dry driving behavior. In terms of mutual test positions, Hankook's model generally ranked higher in most tests, except for Autobild and Automotorsport where Goodyear's model took the lead. However, the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 2 K117 showed consistent strength in the ACE test while the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 excelled in dry driving behavior; therefore, we can say that the choice between these two depends on your specific needs and preferences.
In conclusion, both tyres exhibit a set of strengths and stand out in test performances.
